very busy the past few days! although clearly extremely bored on thursday.

UPDATES:

friday: date with mia. got some work done at borders and then ran into andy?! random. it was kind of nice to catch up, though. home alone so had christina over for some quality girl time - deck, candles, red wine, blood orange mimosas, beer, lots of talking.

saturday: voice lesson with sandy. lulu came home from the cape! watched the phils. luke came over and i was not an annoying older sister for once.

sunday: got up early. attempted to write a poem. lulu and i took grandma to the movies to see "julie & julia" - a hilarious movie, i recommend it. then ordered pizza, parents came home, kate came over and we went to the JASON MRAZ CONCERT!!!! unfortunately, kiri is in france and couldn't be there with us, but it was an fantastic concert. a little rainy at first, but the best surprise ever was that, in addition to g. love and jason mraz, k'naan performed! not for very long, but i absolutely love him. sam b. introduced me to him last spring. heaven.

and so my last week at this law firm begins! finally. it does, however, mark only so many days left until orientation leader training, and therefore only so many left to finish this reading i have to do. i'm getting nervous. but as lulu reminded me, it's going to be the beginning of a new year. a new start, new people. old people, too, but no ben to worry about.
