i am happy to say i've been doing a lot of writing recently. mostly poems, and most of them have been long. here, however, is a shorter one from june 23rd.
"desultory summer" or "untitled"
The bathroom smelled like the sweet fumes of a warm chemical body tile summer cool in the night of salty tart love and lone blue blue in the ink water milking the sky.
I want I want to free to give give my lowest ribs to sweating licked wet sidewalks groups of clothed humans searching in the closed-store-window-dark-club-neon stand or sit by desperate doorways table umbrellas spewing out the weakened unsafe guts of lone I walk unruly never truly could as green crosswalks fill intestines with th'insatiable home light knows its home.
