he is very good at it. i have in the past year learned not to feel stupid for not knowing things or doing things wrong, just taking my experiences as they come and doing better and knowing better for the next time. but bob makes me feel stupid. he sets me to tasks that sound easy, in practice feel impossible, and then, when you tell him you haven't found what he was looking for, tells you where it is.
well thanks, bob. if you knew that already why didn't you just do it yourself? i'm 19 years old and have no idea what i'm doing in a law office. how do you expect me to know exactly how to do that, or get the right answer, or not be flustered when you put me on the spot because you are both my boss and possibly the one person on this earth i've known longer than my parents and my sister and my grandmother?
needless to say, i had an okay day until bob decided to give me a project that is screaming, "carolyn is an incompetent moron!!"
i do not look forward to bob's reaction tomorrow when he finds the papers i put on his desk, the fruits of my internet searching. lawsuits and mystery manufacturers. great.
i need sleep and a vacation. thank the lord - cape cod is approaching.
