back in action. sort of.

i'm back at work. i have things to do, but i don't want to do them. at least i don't want to pass out.

dinner at gretel's last night was fun. i had to eat the lamb, because my mother forgot to tell her i was a vegetarian, but it was delicious and i was happy not to create any conflict. the beauty of flexible vegetarianism.i also gave her a copy of last spring's marquis, so hopefully she'll enjoy that.

not including today, i officially have 5 days of work left. elation! one more paycheck and then i'm out of this hell hole. i'm hoping that from now on i will be able to get internships or externships each winter break and summer, which would be helpful whether or not i get paid. just doing something would be nice. otherwise i imagine i'll be cleaning, organizing, and generally attempting to gut the house without the input of the rest of the family.

i guess i better start making phone calls. i believe terri is on the phone with my dad. and it's macrina's birthday today! happy 19th, friend!
