friday at work continued

no one would answer their phones while i was on my lunch break, so i couldn't find out what stores might be good for a father's day gift search. so i just walked along, sticking to the streets i'm famliar with/know have good shopping. i went into urban outfitters, and while i didn't buy anything, i like going in there just to get ideas about what styles i like (and can find elsewhere for less money) and about decorating. they always have interesting displays and decorations that i want to try to duplicate but almost never can. today, though, i think i could replicate what i saw: geometric patterns made from duct tape! i have a special love of native american-esque designs, and i would love to try them out with duct tape in my room. sounds lame, but i need get some creativity back in my life.

also, there's been a break in the gloomy weather. while it's not entirely sunny out, the heat is typical Philly mug and steam. i must say i enjoy it.
